Privacy policy
This policy explains what Vorlit collects on the web and in our mobile apps, why, and the choices you have.
Replace this template text with your own privacy policy reviewed by counsel. It is a placeholder, not legal advice.
Data we collect
- Account details: your email address and name.
- Sign-in provider identifiers: the account identifier Apple or Google returns when you use Sign in with Apple or Google. With Sign in with Apple you may choose to share a private relay email instead of your own.
- Onboarding answers: the choices you make during in-app onboarding.
- Purchase records: your plan, billing period, subscription status, and the store or Stripe identifiers needed to confirm it. We never receive your full card details.
- Diagnostic data: request logs, device and app version, and error reports used to keep the service reliable and secure.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To provide the features of your plan and confirm your subscription with the store or Stripe.
- To send service emails such as sign-in codes, verification links, and billing notices.
- To tailor your experience from your onboarding answers.
- To diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that process it on our behalf to run the service:
- Cloudflare: hosting, networking, and security.
- Stripe: web payments and subscription billing.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases.
- Google: Google sign-in and Google Play purchases.
- Our email provider: delivery of sign-in codes and service emails.
Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account exists. Purchase records may be kept longer where tax or accounting law requires. Diagnostic logs are kept for a short, limited period.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the settings in the mobile app, or by contacting us. Deletion ends any Stripe subscription and removes your account, sign-in identifiers, and onboarding answers. App Store and Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled in the store; deleting your account does not cancel them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict some processing. To make a request, contact us; we may need to verify your identity first. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
